True, there are some mis-fires along the way. "A Visit from St. Nicholson" (as in Jack) is a clever idea, but it doesn't quite come up to the standard of the rest. "O Come All Ye Grateful Dead-Heads" is not only dated, it's ho-hum at best, and "A Message from the King" (Elvis, of course) isn't so much bad-taste-funny as just bad taste/5().

Buy a CD or Vinyl record and get 90 days free Amazon Music Unlimited out of 5 stars Gung Ho is Ho Hum. Reviewed in the United States on a different album. And then there is the title track, “Gung Ho,” a riff on Vietnam that would be better titled “Ho Hum.” Even for a Patti Smith album, GUNG HO is uneven, but it /5(12).

Recording. It is one of two studio albums with the short-lived Lemmy, Würzel, Zööm and Mikkey Dee lineup, as on the previous album Dee was a 'special guest' drummer and hadn't officially joined the band. It was also the first of four Motörhead albums to be produced by former Child'ƨ Play producer Howard Benson, and the first Motörhead studio album not to contain a title kekandustlisormavoburlitodeerow.coinfog: Bastardette.

Jul 10,  · The only one of second-gen supergroup Wilson Phillips' first four singles not to go to No. 1 on the Hot -- petering out at No. 4, ho hum -- "Impulsive" was nevertheless a gem, marrying Belinda.

Oct 03,  · Wow. I first found Ho-Hum's CD "Local" in a used CD store about 2 years ago, and since then, I've been hooked. "Sanduleak" is an awesome album, and it's not like other band's CDs that have 1 or 2 good tracks/5(2).

In , Ho-Hum emerged with "Funny Business," an aptly titled short album that came out of left field and astonished many fans. Gone were the melodies and the kekandustlisormavoburlitodeerow.coinfog: Bastardette.
