This in-concert collection is an ambitious affair recorded during one performance at the Dominion Theatre in London. Along with a rock & roll symphony, McLean steps out once, providing evidence that he has been seriously underrated. He moves easily between styles and sings with a fluid level of expression one would be hard pressed to imagine from his mainstrem hits.

DON MCLEAN Vinyl Records and CDs: Just as Mike Lookinland will always be known for playing the part of Bobby Brady in the popular Sherwood Schwartz televised situation comedy The Brady Bunch, Don McLean will forever be the guy who wrote the classic hit song "American Pie." When you write a song as epic as that one, how can anything else match up?

McLean would also record another song from Sharp for the same album, titled "Eventually". Sharp recalled in of how McLean came to record the two tracks: "I was signed by Hank Jr. to Bocephus Music in because of "You Can't Blame the Train" and another called "Eventually", which Don would also record.
